Fix available for the TrueSight Server Automation installer and checksum issues
A hotfix is available for TrueSight Server Automation version 25.2.00 to address the installer and checksum issues.
Issue summary
BMC has identified the certificate and md5 checksum issues that might impact your use of TrueSight Server Automation.
Impact if not applied
- Microsoft Windows UPI installer certificate issue: The Microsoft Windows UPI installer was inadvertently signed with an expired certificate. While the installer remains safe and unchanged, some security tools might flag it as untrusted.
- md5 checksum issue: Due to an issue in the checksum logic of a core library, use of md5 checksum might cause errors or lead to unexpected results in the workflows that validate checksums, for example, NSH scripts, compliance job results, and so on.
Action required
Depending on whether version 25.2.00 is already installed or not, perform one of the following actions:
- Version 25.2 is not installed: Download the updated installers from the EPD website with build number 25.2.00.60. You can verify the build number from the Application Server installer or the Agent installer after the download is completed.
- Version 25.2 is already installed: Download the and follow the instructions in the Readme file.
