Creating complex routing rules

To create complex routing rules, you can use the New Rule wizard. This wizard lets you create routing rules with one or more conditions that can use the new server property but are not limited to it. For example, you might create a routing rule based on a target server host name and customer name properties.

To add complex routing rules

  1. Select Configuration > Infrastructure Management. The Infrastructure Management window opens.
  2. In the left pane of the Infrastructure Management window, right-click the node for the routing rules you want to manage — Network Routing Rules, Repeater Routing Rules, Job Execution Rules, or Remote Host Authentication Routing Rules. Then select Rules Management from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the Rules Management panel, click Add Rule . The New Rule wizard opens and shows the General panel.
  4. Complete the information about the following wizard panels, depending on the type of routing rule you are creating.
  5. Click Finish to close the New Rule wizard.
  6. Click Close to close the Infrastructure Management window.
