Updating one server's properties

You can update intrinsic properties for one server.

Alternatively, you can create an Update Server Properties Job, which updates intrinsic server property values for a list of targeted servers. For more information, see Creating-or-modifying-Update-Server-Properties-Jobs.

To update one server's properties

1. Open the Servers folder.
2. Navigate to the server whose properties you want to update.
3. Right-click the server name and select Properties from the drop-down menu. The server properties window appears.
4. Click Verify .

TrueSight Server Automation updates the property values shown in the window to match the current property values for the server. Note that the system updates only intrinsic properties. Intrinsic properties are properties that are derived from the nature and configuration of a server, such as the server's name, root directory, operating system, and so forth.
