Deploy Job - Scheduling

The Schedule tab on a Deploy Job lets you schedule a job or a phase of a job so it can run once.

When entering dates, use a yyyy/mm/dd format. When entering times, use a 24-hour clock format (00:00 to 23:59).

You must choose the time zone that applies for the scheduled job run. Regular and advanced deploy jobs can not be scheduled on a recurring basis. TrueSight Server Automation automatically accounts for differences in time zones and changes in daylight savings time. For example, if you schedule a job that should run weekly at 06:00 Eastern Standard Time, the job always runs at 06:00 Eastern Time, no matter whether standard or daylight savings time is in effect.

To schedule jobs

  1. Using the Schedules tab, specify the date and time when the job or phase of a job should run.
  2. For Time Zone, select the time zone in which the job should run.
The Schedules panel lists the scheduled job's frequency and the time for which it is initially scheduled. The time includes the job's time zone relative to Greenwich Mean Time.
  3. For Priority, select an execution priority level from the drop-down list (available priority levels are Critical, High, Normal, Low, and Lowest).
Note that you cannot select a Priority level higher than the maximum runtime level that is set for your role, which is indicated next to the drop-down list.
