Authentication for RESTful and SOAP web services

RESTful and SOAP web services let you pass in a username and password for the following authentication types:

Use your TrueSight Server Automation username and password.

LDAP

Use your LDAP username and password. In general any LDAP server that supports LDAPv3 should work. LDAP requires integration with the LDAP server. Supported LDAP servers are:

  • Sun LDAP
  • Novell e-Directory LDAP

ADK_PASSWORD

Domain authentication. Use the username and password for the domain login. The username must be in the following format (case sensitive): <username>@<DOMAIN>
For example: john_doe@XYZ.SOME_COMPANY.COM

SECURID

Supported only with fixed passcode. PIN mode is not supported.
