Quick start for using BLCLI

The BLCLI and Network Shell (NSH) are two BMC Server Automation components:

  • The BLCLI is a powerful tool that lets you automate a subset of the functionality that is available through the BMC Server Automation Console.
  • NSH is a cross-platform shell with full scripting capability that gives seamless access to remote servers from central management workstations.

Using the BLCLI within NSH scripts provides a scripting interface similar to SH or Bash and the ability to leverage the BMC Server Automation functionality to create objects and run jobs.
