Browsing IBM PowerVM Virtual Assets

You can browse an IBM frame server to review a variety of server objects (such as LPAR, pool, and configuration information) related to the IBM frame virtual environment.

To browse an IBM frame

Prior to browsing IBM virtual assets, you must have distributed the IBM PowerVM configuration object to the AIX server configured as the agentless managed object, as described in Setting-up-an-IBM-PowerVM-environment.

1. In the Servers folder, navigate to the IBM frame server.
2. Right-click the server and select Browse.
3. In the Live Browse tab or the content editor, expand the Live node.
4. Expand the IBM Configuration server object type to display the nodes.
   The following table describes the structure of the IBM Configuration server object type.
