Downloading patches from a predefined file using the HP-UX Patch Downloader

Use this procedure to download patches from a predefined file using the HP-UX Patch Downloader.

1. Create a text file, customlist.txt, in the working directory of the HP-UX Patch Downloader.

2. In the customlist.txt file, list the names of specific patches that you want to download.
   
   The file should contain a list of patches with one entry on each line in the file. The following sample illustrates a customlist.txt file with five patches.

   PHSS_37820
   PHSS_37827
   PHSS_38028
   PHCO_12555
   PHCO_12577
3. Save and close the file.
4. In the configuration.properties file, locate the DOWNLOAD_USING_LIST parameter and enter 'Y' as follows:
   DOWNLOAD_USING_LIST=Y
   
   The HP-UX Patch Downloader will download only those patches defined in the customlist.txt file.
5. Save and close the file.
