ITSM Configuration dialog box


This dialog box enables you to provide the basic definitions of the connections to the BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System server and BMC Remedy Mid Tier server, which are used in the integration between TrueSight Server Automation and BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management. This integration enables you to track infrastructure change actions initiated by a TrueSight Server Automation operator and automate the Change creation and approval process. The dialog box contains the following fields and controls:

AR Server Hostname

IP address or fully-qualified host name of the BMC Remedy AR System server.

AR Server Port

Port number used to connect to the BMC Remedy AR System server.

AR Server User

Name of the user who logs on to the BMC Remedy AR System server.

AR Server Password

Password for the specified BMC Remedy AR System user.

MidTier Server Hostname

IP address or fully qualified host name of the BMC Remedy Mid Tier.

MidTier Server Port

Port number used to connect to the BMC Remedy Mid Tier.

MidTier Server Protocol

Communication protocol used to connect to the BMC Remedy Mid Tier — either HTTP or HTTPS.

Check Connection

Tests the connection with BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management using the specified details for the two servers.

Delete Connection

Deletes all details of a defined connection.
