Add or Edit AO Configuration
This dialog box enables you to provide the basic definitions of a CDP connection to , which is used in the integration between TrueSight Server Automation and BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management. This integration enables you to track infrastructure change actions initiated by a TrueSight Server Automation operator and automate the Change creation and approval process. For more information about this setup, see Enabling-Change-Automation-for-TrueSight-Server-Automation-jobs.
The dialog box contains the following fields and controls:
Host | IP address or fully-qualified host name of the CDP server. |
Port | Standard communication port, for connection to the primary CDP of . The default port is 38080. |
Grid Name | Name defined for the grid. Specify the name of a grid only if this is the first defined CDP connection. For additional CDP connections, this field is read-only, as all defined connections must be on the same grid. |
User Name | Name of the user used to log on to the CDP. This user must be associated with the ADMIN role in . |
Password | password for the specified user. |
Time-out | Amount of time, in seconds, before a TrueSight Server Automation job that connects to times out. The default is 300 seconds (5 minutes). |
Primary AO | Specifies this CDP as the primary instance. In a high-availability environment with multiple CDP instances, ensure that you select the correct CDP, as defined in . Only one CDP can be set as the primary instance. |
SSL enabled? | Specifies if the connection to the CDP is SSL-enabled and based on an HTTPS connection. |
Check Connection | Tests the connection to the CDP using the specified host, port, grid name, user name, and password details. |
