Using silent mode to upgrade components on Linux or UNIX
You can perform an unattended (silent) upgrade of various TrueSight Server Automation components on a UNIX or Linux system, including the Application Server, Network Shell, and RSCD Agent. To use silent mode for an upgrade, you run the installation program for the version to which you want to upgrade.
To run the installer, enter a command such as the following:
sh BBSA<version>-<platform> -silent
For example:
sh BBSA86-LIN64.sh -silent
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
