Technical bulletin: Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
TrueSight Server Automation 22.2 is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 for the following features:
- RSCD Agent
- Audit
- Snapshot
- Deploy
- Compliance
- Patching (Online mode only)
Prerequisites for the RSCD Agent
Before installing the RSCD Agent on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, ensure that the following packages are installed:
- chkconfig
- libxcrypt-compat
Prerequisites for patching
To support patching on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, you need to manually update the filters file.
- From the TrueSight Server Automation Console, select Configuration > Patch Global Configuration.
- Select the Red Hat tab.
- Click
to download the default Red Hat Channel Filters List file.
- Enter a name for the file and click Save.
- Open the downloaded file with an XML editor.
Append the following contents to the file:
