Unified Agent Installer - Agent Bundle - Configuration

The Agent Bundle - Configuration panel optionally defines configuration file settings for each platform on which agents should be installed. If you do not make any changes for a platform, agents are assigned default values for configuration files.

The Unified Agent Installer uses the information you provide on this panel to create an agent bundle. For detailed information about this type of object, see Creating-an-agent-bundle.

Select each platform and click Edit g_V95_UpdateIcon.gif. The Modify Agent Bundle Configuration window opens. This window lets you define settings for the following configuration files:

  • exports — Sets access permissions for client machines that communicate with a server.
  • users.local — Sets values that override permissions defined in the users file. Typically, the values specified in the users file are automatically generated to implement decisions made in RBAC.
  • secure — Sets communication parameters that define how client and server machines communicate.

See Defining-configuration-file-settings for instructions on using the Modify Agent Bundle Configuration window.
