Snapshot Job - Server Objects
The Server Objects panel lets you identify live server objects that form the basis of a snapshot. The Server Objects panel is only available when you are basing a snapshot on live server objects.
To define a Snapshot Job based on server objects, you must first select a server and then select one or more server objects on that server. Following that, you can refine those selections using includes or excludes and snapshot options.
- Server objects — Specifies the server objects to be snapshot. For more information, see Selecting-server-objects.
- Includes and excludes — Specifies server objects to include or exclude from a snapshot. For example, you might want to exclude all log files or backup files in a directory. For more information, see Specifying-includes-and-excludes-for-snapshots.
- Snapshot/Audit options — Specifies information associated with server objects that should be compared during a snapshot. For more information, see Specifying-snapshot-options-for-a-server-object.
