Formatting columns
You can format a column.
To format a column
- In the Column Customization window, click
beside Format to expand the Column Customization window.
- Select the row you want to format from the Columns list.
The details of the row are populated to the Format window. The object name is read only. - Change the display name of the object that appears in the column header. To return to the original value, select Reset.
- To modify the value when it is a date or a number, use the Field Format menu. Preview demonstrates the new format.
- Adjust the width of the column or accept the default value (1). All of the columns auto-size, meaning they expand or contract to fit the space available. The column width changes dynamically.
If you change the width of the column to 2, that means that the column equals the same space as two columns; 3 equals the width of three columns, and so on. - Choose the alignment of the column header and its content: left, center, right.
- To apply changes and view the formatted table, click OK.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
