Executing a job
After you define a job and it is stored in the relevant folders, you can execute the job at any time. After the job is executed, you can monitor the progress of the job in the Tasks in Progress view.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have, at minimum, Read and Execute authorizations for the job. For example, to execute an Audit Job, you must have, at minimum, AuditJob.Read and AuditJob.Execute.
To execute a job
- Find the job by doing one of the following:
- Using the Jobs folder, navigate to a job.
- Using the Servers folder, right-click a server and select Browse. Then select the Audit Results or Snapshot Results tab to navigate to a job.
- Right-click the job and select Execute.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
