Viewing cached session credentials

The logon window for TrueSight Server Automation lets you view valid cached session credentials.

When a TrueSight Server Automation Application Server authenticates you, it generates a credential for your session, which you can optionally cache. This credential remains cached until it expires.

To view cached session credentials

  1. Open the TrueSight Server Automation logon window by doing one of the following:
    • (Microsoft Windows) Perform one of the following steps:
      • From the Start menu, select Programs > BMC Software > BladeLogic Server Automation Suite > Server Automation Console releaseNumber.
      • From the directory where TrueSight Server Automation is installed (for example, C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\CM), enter:

        .\rcp\BSAClient.exe
    • (UNIX) From the directory where TrueSight Server Automation is installed (for example, /opt/bmc/BladeLogic/CM), enter:

      ./rcp/launcher.sh
  2. Click Options. The logon window expands to show additional options in a tabbed format.
  3. Click the Credentials tab.
The logon window lists cached sessions.
  4. Select a credential and click View.
The Cached Session Credential window opens. It displays information about the credential, such as the authentication protocol in effect and the credential expiration date.
  5. Click Close to close the Cached Session Credential window.
