Execution Tasks - Schedule Servers

The Schedule Servers tab in the Add New Schedule window or the Modify Schedule window (which you open from the Execution Task's Schedules panel or Schedules tab) enables you to limit the schedule to specific target servers. In this manner you can define separate schedules for different target servers. 

You can select any number of target servers for the job schedule from either a tree on the By Group tab (where you can also select server groups or smart server groups) or from a sortable list on the By Name tab, and transfer them from the list of available servers to the list of selected servers using the right arrow.

When you add a group (static group or smart group) as the target of a schedule, the servers in the group are added directly as targets to the schedule but the group is not added. 

Execution task schedules are associated only with servers and not with the group. When you do not specify any targets in the Schedule Servers tab, then the schedule uses the execution task target servers which can be groups. This means, the target servers of the group is added to the schedule.
