Logs for the blasadmin utility

The blasadmin utility is a command line utility that lets you set parameters needed for an Application Server. These parameters define the location and behavior of the application, database, file, mail, SNMP servers, the Authentication Service, and other components of an Application Server.

The logs for the activities performed through the blasadmin utility are logged in the blasadmin.log file, which is located in the AppServer_INSTALL_DIR\br directory.

The logs indicate what was changed, what the former value was, what time it was changed, and who made the change, and so on. A typical log entry looks like the following:

[28 Nov 2022 09:42:32,616] [main] [INFO] [APPSERVER_CONFIGURATION_CHANGE]OS User johnas is setting ManagementService JMXManagementPort to the value 11038 for server test on host <AM-johnas-W6.  The old value was 9838.
