Access control overview

TrueSight Server Automation provides a unified and flexible system of access control that allows you to grant the minimum authorizations needed to perform any action, thereby limiting security risks.

The TrueSight Server Automation system of access control provides granular capabilities, allowing you to restrict access to sensitive configurations and file systems and grant authorization to execute particular tasks (such as executing a Network Shell script) or specific commands (such as ls). You can maintain a complete and consistent audit trail by recording the actions users perform on critical resources. All actions are logged, and event notifications can be sent when certain actions occur.
