Paging through job results

Administrators of large IT infrastructures might want to display the results of job runs, independent of the number of targets against which the jobs run.

Jobs are often executed many times against large numbers of managed servers, resulting in large data sets. To prevent a waiting period when you browse job results data, the system displays data in groups so that all job runs and job run results are not loaded at the same time.

For some job types such as Audit, you can view job results either by managed server target or by server object.

To browse job results

  1. In the Jobs folder in the Folders view, navigate to the job whose results you want to browse.
  2. Right-click the job and select Show Results.
The job and job runs display in a pane in the content editor at left. The job runs display in the paging table at right. Depending on the job type, use the icons to go to Next Page, Previous Page, First Page, Last Page, Jump to Page.
  3. To display job run objects in the paging table at right, click a job run at left. You can filter on All, Errors, Success, Warnings.
  4. To view the details of the job run log, right-click a job run and choose Show Log.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
