Import - Map Missing Depot Objects

Use the Map Missing Depot Objects panel to identify depot files and software to replace depot files and software referenced by the object you plan to import.

The Import wizard only displays this panel if the object you plan to import references depot files or software that do not exist in your Depot. When an imported object references a file or software that already exists in the Depot, the import process automatically maps the file or software to an existing depot object with the same name.

Depot Object Selection

In the Depot Object Selection list, select a file or software item and click Change Depot Object Mapping g_V95_UpdateIcon.gif.
When the Select Depot Object dialog box opens, navigate to the file or software item to replace the missing soft-linked depot object you have selected, and click OK.
If you are mapping a missing file, the dialog box only lets you map to a depot file on the importing system; if you are mapping missing software, the dialog box only lets you map to depot software.
Repeat this process for each depot object in the list.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
