Working with logs
The topics in this section provide an overview of the standard TrueSight Server Automation log files.
TrueSight Server Automation uses Apache log4j 2 to capture log messages from the console and the TrueSight Server Automation Application Server. Apache log4j 2 is an open source logging framework used to control logging output from Java applications. For more information, see Apache log4j 2.
Unless instructed otherwise by BMC Support, the default logging configuration is recommended for normal operation. BMC Support might ask the Application Server Administrator to enable DEBUG logging for a single logger when debugging a particular issue. This change is typically backed out after the requested DEBUG information has been gathered.
