Deprecated features and components
Deprecated features are still available in the product or service. However, they are no longer under active development and might be discontinued from the product in the future. We encourage you to plan and implement the recommended change.

Process spawner | 23.1 | Support for the process spawner is deprecated in version 22.2 and it remains deprecated in version 23.1. Starting with version 23.1, the process spawner service is disabled on a new Application Server. However, you can manually enable and start it. For more information, see Configuring-the-process-spawner. |
TrueSight Server Automation Security | 23.1 | The FolderPermissions property is deprecated inTrueSight Server Automation 23.1. Use the Umask property to control permissions of the Transactions directory. For more information, see Configuring-bldeploy-behavior. |

TrueSight Server Automation TEXT columns in the SQL Server tables | 23.1 | Support for TEXT columns in the following SQL Server tables is dropped in version 23.1 of TrueSight Server Automation. The data type of these columns is now changed to VARCHAR(MAX) from TEXT to avoid any future impact because Microsoft has deprecated support for the TEXT data type support for SQL Server.
