Viewing status and results of an AIX Patching Job

Use the following procedure to monitor a running AIX Patching Job and to view the results of the job. Use this procedure for any AIX Patching Job run, whether it was started by the AIX Patching wizard, by the scheduler, or manually.

  1. In the console's Folders view, right-click an AIX Patching Job, and select Show Results. The job can be currently executing or completed.

    A view for the job appears in the content editor (typically in the top right corner of the console).
  2. Right-click the job run object and select Show Log.

    A panel opens for the selected job run, displaying the job log in the right panel. You can monitor the messages in the job log for progress and for errors.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
