Properties and jobs

When defining jobs, you can use properties to assign characteristics to those jobs. For example, you might want to associate a trouble ticket number with jobs. Or, you might want to flag certain Audit Jobs as being those from which TrueSight Smart Reporting for Server Automation obtains data. Such properties are stored in the Job built-in property class in the Property Dictionary.

TrueSight Server Automation provides a master list of all properties called the Property Dictionary. You can use the Property Dictionary to create and edit properties that you can later add to jobs.
