Component Discovery Job - Targets

The Targets panel lets you select the servers and server groups on which component discovery should occur.

To select or remove target servers, use the arrows to move servers or server groups between the Available Targets list and the Selected Targets list.

Warning

Note

If you select Linux servers, make sure that the RSCD agent on those servers is configured with root permissions. Otherwise, a Compliance Job that references discovered components on the Linux servers fails. The error message in this case is: Root privileges are required for executing this script.
