Viewing SCAP schema errors


You can view schema errors from Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) validation in the TrueSight Server Automation Application Server log.

To view SCAP benchmark validation errors

This procedure describes how to access the Application Server log using live browse in the TrueSight Server Automation Console. Alternatively, you can access the files in the server's native file system.

  1. In the Servers folder, right-click the server that hosts the Application Server and select Browse.
  2. In the Content panel, expand the File System node.
  3. Navigate to the Application Server installation directory, expand the br subfolder, and locate the appserver.log file.
    For example, using the default installation directory, the file path is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\NSH\br\appserver.log.
  4. Double-click appserver.log.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
