Configuring the Push Manager service
You can configure the Push Manager service of the Application Server that runs when you register a Smart Hub. This service sends event requests such as server decommissioning to the Smart Hub. You can configure the following parameters of the service:
- EventPushBatchSize: The batch size of sending multiple events in a single request. The default size is 1000. You can specify the size in the range 1 - 10000. You can modify this size to improve the performance.
- EventPushInterval: The interval at which requests are sent to the Smart Hub. The default interval is one minute. You can specify the interval in the range 1 - 180 minutes.
To configure these parameters, do the following:
- Log in to the host where the Application Server is installed.
- Start the blasadmin utility.
- At the command prompt, enter these commands:
- set Appserver EventPushBatchSize <value>
- set Appserver EventPushInterval <value>
- Verify the changes:
- show Appserver EventPushBatchSize
- show Appserver EventPushInterval
- Restart all the config deployments.
