Downloading QPK from a predefined file using the HP-UX Patch Downloader

Use this procedure to download Quality Pack (QPK) bundles from a predefined file using the HP-UX Patch Downloader.

1. Create a text file, customlist.txt, in the working directory of the HP-UX Patch Downloader.

2. In the customlist.txt file, list the names of the QPKs that you want to download.
   The file should contain a list of QPKs with one entry on each line in the file. The following sample illustrates a customlist.txt file with one QPK.

   GOLDQPK11i_B.11.11.0912.483.depot

   Note

    You must specify the complete QPK name, and also add the .depot extension in the customlist.txt file. You can also specify patches and QPKs in the same customlist.txt file.

3. Save and close the file.
4. In the configuration.properties file, locate the DOWNLOAD_USING_LIST parameter and enter Y as follows:
   DOWNLOAD_USING_LIST=Y
   
   The HP-UX Patch Downloader will download only those patches defined in the customlist.txt file.
5. Save and close the file.
