Default installation location for components

During installation, if you do not specify an alternate installation location with Customize Configuration, TrueSight Server Automation is installed in the following default location:

  • Microsoft Windows: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic
  • Linux and UNIX: /opt/bmc/bladelogic

Names of folders that are contained within this installation directory are not customizable.

Specific product components are installed in the following directories. Certain paths depend on whether you install TrueSight Server Automation using component installers or the unified product installer (UPI).

Default installation locations

If you customize any of the settings in the pxe.conf or tftp.conf files, you must run a syncFile process, as follows:

Windows

Navigate to /bin/ directory of the PXE server and run the following commands in the command prompt:

blasadmin.exe –s _pxe
syncFile

Linux

Navigate to the NSH prompt and run the following commands:

blasadmin –s _pxe
syncFile

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
