Custom commands
Custom commands allow you to perform many functions from within the TrueSight Server Automation Console that might otherwise require you to launch a command line interface like Network Shell or other external applications.

You can define a custom command to perform any of the following actions:
- Launch a script or executable program on a target server. If necessary, the script or program can execute against a file or directory on the target server.
- Launch an application that resides on the user's local computer.
Scripts, programs, or applications can execute in a command line interface, a graphical user interface, or a tabular format, like a spreadsheet, that is displayed within a separate tab.
A typical installation includes standard custom commands that are available by default if your role has the appropriate permissions. The following table lists the standard custom commands TrueSight Server Automation provides:
Custom Command | Description |

Agent Information | Runs the Network Shell agentinfo command, which provides information about specified servers. |
Network Top | Displays processes running on servers across a network. Information appears in a shell and is updated on a periodic basis. |
NSH Here | Opens a Network Shell on specified servers. |
Reboot Server | Reboots specified servers. |
Remote Desktop Connection | Opens a connection with a remote Microsoft Windows machine. |
Secadmin | Runs the secadmin utility, which returns the security settings for one or more servers. Running this command on multiple servers determines whether their security settings match. |
Server Overview | Displays information about the configuration of specified servers, such as their speed, disk size, and memory. |
View Disk Usage | Displays statistics about disk usage on specified servers. |
View Memory Usage | Displays memory usage on specified servers. |
View Processes | Displays processes running on specified servers. |
View Server Activity | Displays overview information about activity on specified servers, such as the number of processes running and the amount of memory used on those servers. |
