Snapshot Job - Components Templates for Filtering

The Component Templates for Filtering panel lets you identify the component templates that form the basis of a snapshot. The Component Templates for Filtering panel is only available when you are basing a snapshot on components.

In the Available Templates panel expand the component templates and select the component template that you want to snapshot. Use the arrow button to move your selection of templates from the list of available templates to the list of selected templates.

Any components based on that template that are discovered on target servers can be included in the snapshot.

Note

When choosing the component that you want to snapshot, take into account the size of the component and focus on the minimum scope. For example, do not choose a component for an entire file system, as the typical size of a file system can cause the Snapshot Job to fail.
