Notification of a critical issue with database cleanup in SQL Server installations
BMC Software is alerting users of TrueSight Server Automation 21.02.01 to a critical issue that occurs with the JobRunEvent data during database cleanup on Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Problem
After you upgrade to version 21.02.01 and run database cleanup, the JobRunEvent data newer than the specified retention time is incorrectly deleted.
Mitigation
The TrueSight Server Automation 21.02.01 installers on the Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site have been replaced with the updated installers, as shown in the following table. The table also includes MD5 or SHA256 checksum results that you can verify before installation.

Do one the following depending on when you downloaded the installers and whether you used them for upgrading:
- If you have downloaded installers before the date listed in the Installers updated on column, and have not already used them for upgrading your installation, download the updated installers from EPD and use them for upgrade.
- If you have downloaded installers before the date listed Installers updated on column, and already used them for upgrading your installation, contact BMC Support for a hotfix.
