Enabling the notices and consent banner for TrueSight Automation Console

TrueSight Automation Console uses the login page of TrueSight Server Automation for the Remedy Single Sign-On authentication. When you access the TrueSight Automation Console URL, you are directed to the login page of TrueSight Server Automation to specify user credentials. You can enable the notices and consent banner for TrueSight Automation Console that is displayed after specifying the credentials. When enabled, you must agree to the consent to view the TrueSight Automation Console application dashboard. If the notices and consent banner is not enabled, the TrueSight Automation Console application dashboard is displayed immediately after you present credentials on the TrueSight Server Automation login page.

To enable the notices and consent banner for TrueSight Automation Console, do the following:

  1. Create a text file and add content for the notices and consent banner to the file.
  2. Run the following blasadmin commands:
    1. set authserver IsNoticeAndConsentBannerEnabled true
    2. set authserver <notice_and_consent_banner_path>/<consent_banner_file>Example: set authserver NoticeAndConsentBannerPathName /opt/bmc/bladelogic/NSH/br/consent_banner_content.txt
  3. Restart the Application Server.
