You can continue to use the earlier versions of RSCD agents without upgrading them to the latest version. However, ensure that their version is 8.9.03 or later to use the patching capabilities in .

Important

  • After you upgrade from  version earlier than 8.9.02, update the appserver-options.properties file to change the TLS protocol setting for the EnabledRSCDProtocols parameter to TLSv1,TLSv1.2 and restart the Application Server. For information, see Configuring-the-TLS-protocol.
    Make sure that this TLS setting change is made for all the deployment types.
  • Smart Hub upgrade using the Unified Product Installer is not supported. If your  environment contains one or more Smart Hubs, you must upgrade them manually to match the version of upgraded .

Artifacts installed when you upgrade with the unified product installer

When you upgrade your TrueSight Server Automation environment using the unified product installer, the installer no longer installs or upgrades the following artifacts:

  • ZipKits
  • blcontent
  • SCAP compliance jobs creation
  • Quick start page
