25.2 Manage OS version compatibility with an externalized configuration

TrueSight Server Automation 25.2 introduces a configuration-driven model that externalizes OS version and build number mappings into JSON files. This eliminates the need for code changes or product upgrades for each new OS release, enabling faster agent deployment and patching workflows.

Support to configure Web Proxy server

TrueSight Server Automation supports communication with Remedy or Helix SSO via a Web Proxy server (For example, SQUID Proxy Server), configured through the Application server's blasAdmin commands.

Support for random password generation during the RSCD Agent installation

You can specify the optional parameter BLRSCD_RAND_PW_LEN=<VALUE> during the RSCD Agent installation to set the desired password length. The set password lenght is stored in the Windows Registry and used for future password generation.

Support for secure database communication in TrueSight Server Automation core components

Secure database communication with TrueSight Server Automation core components enhance security by enabling encrypted communication over Transport Layer Security (TLS). This feature strengthens the overall security framework for applications relying on Oracle and MSSQL databases.

Support for Helix ITSM in TrueSight Server Automation

TrueSight Server Automation supports integration with BMC Helix ITSM.

REST API enhancements

New REST API introduced for retrieving job related details as follows:

API call	Description
GET /api/v1/jobs/schedule/{id}	Retrieves the job details from a specified schedule ID. Note: This API is currently supported only for schedule ID of an NSH Script Job.
