Displayed information for software applications

The following figure presents an example of a Live Browse display of software applications discovered by BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping.

The following table describes each node level in the display of discovered software applications and provides information about the further details provided for certain nodes.

Note

Although the Software Instances node and the Discovered Software node both group similar lists of discovered software applications on the managed server, the Software Instances node provides more details about the individual software instances while the Discovered Software node is better suited for software path comparisons in Snapshot Jobs and Audit Jobs.
