UUID Pool - UUID Suffix Ranges

The UUID Suffix Ranges panel lets you add or edit ranges of UUID suffixes.

  • To add a UUID range, click Add a UUID Suffix Range AddButton.bmp. Then specify a Start UUID and an End UUID for the range and click OK.
  • To change an existing range, select the range in the UUID Suffix Ranges list and click Edit UpdateIcon.bmp. Edit the range and click OK.

Note

If you run out of UUIDs in a UUID suffix pool, you can deallocate one or more UUIDs, thus making them available for provisioning. For information, see To reclaim resources.
