Downloading patch downloader utilities
From the BMC Software Electronic Product Distribution (EPS) website, download the appropriate utilities for building your offline repository. To know which file to download, you need to determine what platform you ar using to run the utilities.
The downloader utilities are packaged in files that are named as follows:
All-OS-Patch-Downloaders-<platform>-<build>.<extension>
- <platform> is the supported platform on which you can run the utilities.
- <build> is the version number.
- <extension> is the appropriate extension of the compressed file (.tar.gz or .zip).
The compressed files contain utilities for downloading patches from all supported platforms as well as sample XML files for building configuration files.
To download the All OS Patch Downloaders for Linux (.gz) or All OS Patch Downloaders for Windows (.zip) file from EPD, navigate to the Licensed products tab and select the product and specific release version for which you want to download the patch downloader utilities. All the downloaders are available under the release-specific folders.
