Manually executing an AIX Patching Job

To manually execute an AIX Patching Job, from the Jobs folder, right-click a AIX Patching Job that you previously created and select Execute.

The job appears on the Tasks in Progress view.

Warning

You need to enable the required permissions for anyone responsible for creating executing a patching job, see Role-based permissions for creating and running a patching job for the list of permissions.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
