Deploying Adobe Acrobat

To deploy Acrobat Reader using BMC Server Automation, do the following:

  1. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader from here.
  2. Create a new Custom Software object in the Depot.
  3. For the Install Command, use the value for the applicable version below.
    • Adobe Acrobat 10.x — msiexec /I "SOURCE" /qb
  4. For the Uninstall Command, use the value for the applicable version below.
    • Adobe Acrobat 10.x — msiexec /I "SOURCE" /qn
  5. Save the Custom Software object.
  6. Right-click the Custom Software and select Deploy. Walk through the Deploy Job steps, choosing the servers to which you want to deploy.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
