Create BLPackage - Select Server Objects

The Select Server Objects panel lets you select live server objects for a BLPackage.

The Server Objects panel lets you select any version of a custom configuration object, even though that version of the object may not be included in your Configuration Object Dictionary.

If the server objects you have selected with this panel include software that does not match software stored in the Depot, the Select Matching Software window appears. Use it to match software in the depot with software in the package you are bundling, as described in Matching-software-with-depot-items.

Server Objects

Click Add g_V95_AddIcon.gifto open the Select Server Objects window. In the Servers list on the left, select the server objects you want to include in the BLPackage and click the right arrow, which moves your selections to the Server Objects list in the right panel.

Includes and Excludes

Use this section to refine your choices for the server objects included in the BLPackage. For example, you might want to exclude all log files or backup files in a directory. For more information, see Specifying-includes-and-excludes.

Recurse subfolders

Select to recursively select all subfolders in a folder.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
