Virtual Infrastructure Discovery Job - Destination  Selection

The Destination Selection panel lets you chose the remediation target for any unregistered Virtual Machines that the job discovers. This panel appears only if you selected the Auto Remediate Unregistered Virtual Systems option on the General panel.

Selecting the remediation target

Note

This panel applies only to VMware environments.

Select the remediation target for any unregistered Virtual Machines by doing the following:

  1. Browse to a vCenter host.
  2. Expand the VMware vCenter Server node.
  3. Expand the Inventory node.

  4. Select the target as either Host, Resource Pool or DRS enabled Cluster. 

    Note

    The Virtual Infrastructure Discovery Job does not support selecting objects from the vApp tree as remediation targets.


  5. Click Next.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
