BLCLI commands for inclusion in a process
Several BLCLI commands that are related to Workflow Jobs are available for inclusion in the BMC Atrium Orchestrator process through a Call Adapter activity, which calls the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for BMC Server Automation and runs the BLCLI command.
For example, inclusion of any of the following BLCLI commands in the original BMC Atrium Orchestrator process affects the execution results of your Workflow Job:
- The executeWorkflowChildJob and executeWorkflowChildJobId commands enable the execution of a child BMC Server Automation job by the Workflow Job.
- The updateWorkflowJobRunLog command enables you to update the Workflow Job run log with a message issued at a specific point during the execution of the BMC Atrium Orchestrator process.
- The updateWorkflowJobRunStatus command enables you to set the Workflow Job run status to reflect the status of the underlying BMC Atrium Orchestrator process. For example, you can have the Workflow Job fail if its associated BMC Atrium Orchestrator process ended with errors.
