In the Job Properties panel you can choose to override job properties with different values for use by the Execution Task, without affecting the properties of the original job.
Use the following screen elements to override job properties:
Example
You have associated a trouble ticket number with your job through a custom property, but you do not want to have to modify the value of this property every time you run the job. Instead, you base an Execution Task on the job whenever you have a new ticket number to associate with the job.
Note
After running the Execution Task, you can access the definitions of a job through the results of any specific job run and see the new values that you defined for overriding job properties. For more information, see Viewing the job definition of a job run.
