Exporting SCAP results

You can export the SCAP Compliance Job results to XCCDF-compliant XML file and view the XML file in human-readable form in a web browser, and also to ARF or ASR file compliant with ARF/ASR specification version 0.41. The exported files can be stored in the location of your choice.

One or more job run instances appear in the Content View.
  2. Expand the job run instance of interest.
Two objects appear under the job run instance: the Rules View and the Server View.
  3. Right-click one of the views and select Export SCAP Compliance Results.
  4. In the Export SCAP Results dialog box:
    1. Select the server on which you want to store the exported file.
    2. Select a drive on that server.

Warning

Note

Whenever there is a change in the IP address of the target/server enrolled into BSA , you need to run Update Server Properties job and rerun the Compliance job, so that new IP address is reflected into ASR report.

If you do not run the USP and export the ARF result , following message will pop up:

"The Network configuration data is missing for below mentioned targets:

abc.bmc.com

This may be because of the following reasons :

 1. Agent version is lesser than 8.2 SP1.

 2. Job was executed against targets, when agent version was lesser than 8.2 SP1. Upgrade the agent and rerun the Job."

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
