Application Server updates for SP2

BMC Server Automation version 8.3 SP2 includes the following updates in the Application Server:

Added information in the Application Server log

The Application Server launcher log now includes information about the user or role who initiated an application server shutdown. 

Analysis of Application Server log messages through the Log Analysis Tool

You can use the add-on Log Analysis Tool to analyze log messages from any number of BMC Server Automation Application Servers. The Log Analysis Tool enables you to view log messages from multiple log files that originate from multiple Application Servers, and control the display by sorting or filtering. In addition, through the Log Analysis Tool you can view a graphical presentation of memory usage statistics over time, based on log messages that contain information about the usage of various types of memory.
