Browsing UCS nodes

You can browse the assets of managed UCS systems using the BMC Server Automation Console. This section describes how to browse the UCS nodes and lists the various types of UCS asset nodes.

To browse UCS nodes

  1. Open the Servers folder and navigate to the BMC Server Automation UCS Manager server.
  2. Right-click the BMC Server Automation UCS Manager server and select Browse.
    The server opens in the Content Editor on the right.

  3. Choose the Live Browse tab.

    Note

    The status of UCS assets might change during a work or browsing session.To refresh the displayed information to reflect updated status, navigate to the node that you want to refresh, right-click it, and select Refresh.

BMC Server Automation UCS asset nodes

The BMC Server Automation UCS Manager server displays UCS assets as nodes in the Console. The following table describes the asset types, their path, and purpose.
