Installation process overview
Installation of the BSA Server Automation system involves installation of the Application Server, BMC Server Automation Console, Network Shell, RSCD agent, and PXE/TFTP server. The installation sequence and process depend on the platform on which you are installing and the components to be installed.
- Microsoft Windows — Each BMC Server Automation component has a separate installation. See Installing-BMC-Server-Automation-on-Windows.
- Linux and UNIX — All BMC Server Automation components except for the BMC Server Automation Console can be installed in one installation. See Installing-BMC-Server-Automation-on-Linux-and-UNIX.
